The only guideline is that the composition be inspired by African or Afro-Caribbean rhythms – how you interpret this is completely up to you, so read on to find out how to submit your entries!

We present each of the curated rhythms on this site in a organized structure we call a "Rhythm Play Panel."

This structure provides an organized, simple and effective way for you to learn the different rhythm "parts" of each rhythm, dialogue, or ensemble. Read on to learn about this important feature of the site you'll be using regularly to become a better drummer.
